Thu 9th Aug 2007 Bower's Coaches Photos from Bower's Coaches operation in the Peak District. Bower's seemed to be a well run small operation serving the centre of the Peak District, connecting all the little villages together. A minibus fleet seemed to be the primary use - Solos were very common with a few Mercs here and there. |

Sat 19th Jul 2008 Dales & District Dales & District operate a network of bus services in the north and eastern areas of the Yorkshire Dales, serving (amongst other places), Richmond, Leyburn and Ripon. I managed to grab a few of their services... any comments welcome. |

Wed 20th Aug 2008 Jacksons of Silsden Photos of Jacksons of Silsden. Two Solos came into Skipton Bus Station on a Sunday service when I went up in 2008. |

Wed 20th Aug 2008 Pennie Pennie operate from their base in Skipton, basically covering the local routes around Skipton, such as route 580 which connects Skipton and Sette. The fleet seems to be predominantly Dennis Darts of differing varieties, all in an orange livery. |

Wed 20th Aug 2008 Pride of the Dales My local bus company for my trip to Yorkshire was "Pride of the Dales"... a very smart company operating a small fleet of Solos around Grassington and its surrounding areas, surving Buckden, Skipton and Ilkley amongst other areas. Any comments welcome! |

Thu 9th Aug 2007 Trent Barton Photos from the Trent Barton operations, which tend to operate predominantly around Derby, Nottingham and the Trent valley. However, some serve the Peak District as shown in this gallery. Trent operate the 199 Buxton - Manchester Airport shuttle, along with the Trans Peak route operated with Excels and coaches from Manchester to Nottingham. |
